Parents & Students - Religious and Spiritual Life - Special Events

"I believe deeply that we must find, all of us together, a new spirituality. This new concept ought to be elaborated alongside the religions in such a way that all people of good will could adhere to it."

—His Holiness the Fourteenth Dalai Lama

We will dance the magic dance
And our bodies will remember
We will sing the magic songs
And together we'll remember
How to live together
How to love each other
How to ride the eagle
How to call the deer
Home

—Will Ashe Bacon

The chaplains lead religious services regularly in the Cochran Chapel or in the Kemper Chapel, a smaller and more intimate worship space on the lower level of the chapel building. The building also houses a small meditation room for use by small groups of all faiths, but particularly adaptable for Hindu and Muslim student worship.
