Grandparents’ Day in May

More than 330 visitors came to campus on May 10 to join in the activities of Grandparents Day. This year the event expanded into a two-day affair that kicked off on Friday evening with a reception in the Addison Gallery that celebrated not only the Addison’s new spring exhibition but also the 25th anniversary of the Grandparent Fund. On Saturday, grandparents had the opportunity to visit the classes of their grandchildren and participate in various scheduled events, including a Head of School Reception at which current grandparent John Robinson (Lily ’08), presented Head of School Barbara Chase with a check for the Grandparent Fund in the amount of $144,110. John and his wife Barbara are co-chairs of the Grandparent Fund. (Photos by Alice Tung)
