PA Skaters Try Their Hand at Sled Hockey

Students trying out for the girls’ and boys’ ice hockey teams traded in their skates for sleds as they joined forces to take on the sled hockey team from Northeast Passage of Durham, NH. Although PA fell 13-1, it was all in good fun as the Andover students took the drubbing in stride. The event, which was a collaborative effort between Athletics and Community Service, raised enough money to purchase a new sled for the Passage team. Ice Rink Supervisor, Eric Matlin, coordinated the event. To learn more about Northeast Passage, click here. (Photos by Ian Sigal ’12)
