A wide variety of famous trials, seemingly in no particular order, following
the interests of Professor Doug Linder of the University of Missouri-Kansas
Law School. The earliest is the Salem Witchcraft trials and the latest
is the Rodney King/ LAPD trial. Links on the bottom of the page lead
to essays on selected cases and constitutional issues.

Makes available the historic files of Supreme Court Decisions; search

Trial Court Law Libraries
Contains mostly Massachusetts law, and includes directions to the local
Trial Court law libraries open to the public. The Lawrence Law Library
has extended hours and email reference.

Criminal Justice Information Center
"The National Criminal Justice Reference Service (NCJRS) is one of the
most extensive sources of information on criminal and juvenile justice
in the world." Comprehensive and well organized, an excellent source
for statistics.
- Lawcrawler
Findlaw's legal search engine is powered by Google.There is a pull down
menu to allow specific(Supreme Court cases) or general (all web sites)
searching. The directories and variety of links in the resources section
make this a useful and well-organized web site.

Code
Cornell Law School 's Legal Information Institute provides the
searchable full text of the latest version of the US Code of laws.

States Law Sources on the Web
The Harvard Law School Library's list of legal sites organized by branch
of government and type of information. Good source for Massachusetts
law.

Findlaw maintains a comprehensive collection of Supreme Court decisions
dating back to 1937. Browse by volume, year, citation number and party
name. This site also provides a search engine to locate decisions dating
back to 1893.

The Cornell Law School Legal Information Institute provides this easy
hypertext access to pending cases, cases from 1990 to present, and important

International and Multinational where you can search for laws or use
Guides for overviews and background material or Nations of the World,
where you can search alphabetically by country. GLIN,
the Global Legal Information network is a searchable database of international
laws in the language of the country of origin with summaries in English.
