Online version of an invaluable resource the Census Bureau has been producing

The downloadable index refers to tables and not page numbers, and no keyword
searching available, so you might want to use the print version in the
Reference Room for technical searches. The current year and previous five

U.S. and some world data; there are more than 100,000 time series for
which data and custom charts can be retrieved as well as downloaded into
Excel. Most useful if you know what type of information you are looking
for.
