Andover Economics Project Describes Econ 410 and 510, contains a paper archive and details about the collaboration with the Aga Khan Educational Service.  
CEESource: Central and East European Legal, Political, Business and Economics WWW Resources Provides links to all the Central and Baltic Countries, plus Russia, Belarus, Ukraine, and Moldova. Organized by country and includes law, politics, business and economics.  
Country Studies The Country Studies and Area Handbook Program produced by the Library of Congress Research Division contains the full text of 85 volumes (some are also in the library's circulating collection) at the present time. Pictures, tables and bibliographies are being added. Countries in bold print on the browse list have already been updated. Search the full text by keyword or use chapter headings.  
European Parliament Explains the role of the Parliament and archives its opinions and resolutions. Provides links to the 15 official member states. This is the English version.  
European Union On-Line The official web site of the EU. A huge and well-organized site with News, Activities, Institutions, ABC (glossary). Official Documents, and Information Sources. Also, try the European Central Bank, the official site of the European Central Bank, to find current information on the financial status of participating countries and EuroInternet for research and working papers and many well-organized links on the personal homepage of an Austrian economist.  
International Monetary Fund Publications Includes full text of Working Papers and parts of other publications, such as the World Economic Outlook. Try the main IMF for more information on member nations, the IMF mission, current news and world events with the IMF.  
International Trade Web Resources Part of the Federation of International Trade Associations, this searchable section of the parent site is a gateway to world trading statistics, business directories, treaties, glossaries, trade issues and much more. A good place to begin your Internet search on international trade.  
MSU-CIBER International Business Resources on the WWW A very complete gateway to statistical information from Michigan State University.  
The United Nations Much statistical data and information under links for Economic and Social Development and Civil Society/Business.  
Research Papers in Economics "A collaborative effort of over 100 volunteers in 44 countries to enhance the dissemination of research in economics. The heart of the project is a decentralized database of working papers, journal articles and software components. All RePEc material is freely available."  
The Stanley Foundation "The Stanley Foundation is a nonpartisan, private operating foundation that strives for secure peace with freedom and justice by promoting public understanding, constructive dialogue, and cooperative action on critical international issues." Many reports are fulltext.  
World Factbook Online version of the print book in the Reference Room and compiled by the CIA, individual country profiles are listed alphabetically; including such information as geographical coordinates, population, political regimes, and economies.  
World Bank Group T he reports focus on understanding the present and future challenges facing nations and regions in the developing world. Contains statistics, articles and overviews from many countries.

Bureau of Economic Analysis
This site contains access to economic data and publications from the Bureau of Economic Analysis. Also includes tables, state and regional data, and International trade data.

Bureau of Labor Statistics
This site is updated approximately one week after the start of a calendar month with information on labor and financial demographics, the current population survey and labor force statistics. The Library subscribes to the Monthly Labor Review periodical.

Statistical Abstracts of the United States
Online version of an invaluable resource the Census Bureau has been producing for over a hundred years. Search a topic by browsing through a section. The downloadable index refers to tables and not page numbers, and no keyword searching available, so you might want to use the print version in the Reference Room for technical searches. The current year and previous five are downloadable. Adobe Acrobat® Reader is required. (See reference librarian for back issues).

Economagic: Economic Time Series
A comprehensive collection of statistics, for the most part employment statistics, arranged in chronology (in a time series manner). Extensive U.S. and some world data; there are more than 100,000 time series for which data and custom charts can be retrieved as well as downloaded into Excel. Most useful if you know what type of information you are looking for.

Gendernet
This site describes how the Bank seeks to reduce gender disparities and enhance women's participation in economic development through its programs and projects. It summarizes knowledge and experience, provides gender statistics, and facilitates discussion on gender and development.
