  • Complete Journal List
    From the American Chemical Society. These sites are not all full text, but they do provide information on the latest issues.
  • The Information Retrieval in Chemistry Server
    A gateway to chemistry and chemistry Internet related resources. Broken into topics and subtopics, this site (which boosts over 40,000 hits per month) links to some 60 databases, 50 journals, and 40 educational sites.
  • Learning by Visualization
    Visual Aids for organic chemistry from Colby College. Shockwave is required, free to download at the site.
  • Virtual Library Chemistry Section Links for Chemists
    Over 8,000 chemistry links organized and maintained by the University of Liverpool.
  • Visual Elements
    This site From the Chemical Society in Great Britain uses Flash to make the Table of Elements more exciting. May be hard to read on some computers; try increasing font size. Scroll down for navigation buttons. Some material may be downloaded.
  • The Pictorial Periodic Table
    An interactive periodic table where properties of the elements can be searched, collated or graphed. Scroll down for display preferences and many more links. Homepage states last update was 1998.
  • Web Elements In-depth information about the elements. Includes atoimic number, weight, physical properties, common compounds and photographs.
  • ScienceBase: Anyone interested in chemistry and the related sciences. Includes the latest happenings in chemistry as well as articles on many current topics.

  • American Institute of Physics
    The AIP's mission is to preserve and desseminate information on the history of modern physics, astronomy, geophysics, optics, and the like. Offers site links, a photo archive, and a site map.
  • Institute of Physics
    For physics professionals in Great Britain and Ireland. Search contents of their 31 journals. Some full text available. Use PhysicsWeb for web links and news.
  • Learn Physics Todayl
    A Thinkquest entry which begins with a basic skills in algebra and then has tutorials in mechanics, lights and waves, and electricity in 15 chapters. Each chapter ends with a short quiz. Scroll down to see helpful navigation. Developed by the faculty at Colegio Franklin D. Roosevelt, in Lima, Peru.
  • Eric Weisstein's World of Physics
    An online physics encyclopedia with easy to use hyperlinks. Browse or search.
  • PhysNet, the physics departments and documents network
    The Institute for Science Networking in Oldenburg, Germany maintains this comprehensive listing of physics departments worldwide. Also maintains links to journals, educational resources and specialized search engines.
  • Physics: an annotated list of key resources on the internet
    This annotated webliography, written by Laurel Kristick, was published by the Association of Research & College Libraries is very comprehensive. Not updated since 2001.
  • Physics Homepage of Peggy Schweiger
    This high school teacher of advanced physics has put up her lectures, notes and exercises.
  • Physics Central
    Maintained by the American Physical Society, this comprehensive site offers updates in physics, biographies,news and additional links. It's mean to make physics fun and interesting, and it succeeds!
