| William Schleisner 1912-1962
Mr. Schleisner was a noted photographer of architecture
and a partner of the Gottscho-Schleisner photography firm. Jacob
Deschin, a photography editor of the New York Times, described his
work as "…a rare treat in these days of casual shooting." Mr. Schleisner's
photographs survive in a number of collections around the country.
