Thanks to the generosity of the Abbot Academy Association, the Oliver Wendell Holmes Library is able to offer downloadable audiobooks to all members of the Phillips Academy Community. We have purchased a set of audiobooks to support the PA curriculum, as well as books that meet the leisure reading needs of our community.

When you find an audiobook in the library catalog, please see a librarian at the Help Desk or the Circulation Desk. S/he will help you download it onto one of the OWHL's iPods, or your personally owned iPod. If you borrow an OWHL iPod, the loan period is 3 weeks. If you would like us to download a book onto your iPod, it will be available to you until you decide to remove it from your device.

At this time, we only support the Apple iPod. iPod Shuffles, Nanos, Photo/Video iPods, and older models are all compatible. We unfortunately do not support any other mp3 players. This decision was made because we felt that the majority of people in our community who own mp3 players own the Apple iPod.
