Electronic Full Text Books

Not all books live on the physical shelves of the library.  In fact, the OWHL has many electronic full text books available through our catalog.

Electronic full-text book are just as the name implies, books that have been repurposed into a digital format.  We purchase these books just as we would purchase a book that sits on the shelf and they are made available to the PA community through links in our catalog.

When searching for electronic full-text book in the catalog, use the keywords “electronic resource” along with whatever subject terms you are looking for.

Once you find the electronic full-text book that you would like to access in the catalog, all you have to do is to click on the link provided in the catalog and you will be linked to the book. 

Each book is formatted differently, so take a moment to assess the layout of the front page and find things like the index, the table to contents and if there is a search functionality available.
