Borrowing Books & Other Materials

Your Phillips Academy ID is your library card.  It is a very valuable possession!  With it you can borrow books, CD’s, and DVD’s from the OWHL, five other libraries on campus, and from the NOBLE consortium of 27 college and public libraries.  With your ID you have access to 3.2 million items in all media.

And if that’s not enough, your PA ID also serves as your library card for Andover’s public library, Memorial Hall, located an easy walk from campus in the center of town.  Your ID card is also useful for borrowing materials on Academic Reserves.  These are special collections of materials assembled in support of a particular class or assignment. 

Finally, use your ID to borrow a laptop for use in the library, or an iPod Nano or Creative MUVO pre-loaded with your choice of unabridged audiobooks.
