Access

Access Services includes all services involved with borrowing books, materials in other media, and physical items such as laptops and MP3 players. Your PA ID is your library card. You may borrow materials with your PA ID as long as you don’t have fines totaling $5 or more. You may keep books for 3 weeks and DVDs for 3 days.

OWHL Catalog
Search for all materials (books, DVDs, music, etc…) available on campus and in the OWHL stacks.

NOBLE Catalog
Extend your search beyond the OWHL by searching all 27 libraries of the NOBLE consortium (over 3 million books!). To request materials through NOBLE, you must have a PIN Number (available at the circulation desk). Typically books take 3-5 days to arrive.

Virtual Catalog
The Virtual Catalog allows you to search for materials from libraries across Massachusetts. You must have a PIN Number (available at the circulation desk) in order to access this catalog. Typically books take 5-7 days to arrive.

BPL Catalog
With a Boston Public Library eCard, you have access to the electronic collections of the Boston Public Library system. This includes use of their electronic databases or the thousands of titles in their audiobook and e-book collection. See an OWHL librarian for assistance.

Memorial Hall Catalog
Search for materials in Andover’s Public Library, conveniently located in downtown Andover. Use your PA ID at Memorial Hall’s circulation desk to obtain your library card.

Did You Know?

The Academy Archive also holds some early history of The Andover Newton Theological School, which was originally located on this campus. After a century in Andover the school moved to Harvard University and later to its current location in Newton.
