Phillips Academy Room

The Phillips Academy Room is located on the second floor of the old wing of the OWH Library and is currently being used by the Academic Support department. The room holds some of the library’s Special Collections, as well as school history and documents.

The Phillips Academy Room is home to the school’s publications, including a set of yearbooks, and to the collection of the original 1819 library.  There is also a collection of publications by various Headmasters as well as some student publications. A portrait of Samuel Phillips hangs on the wall just inside the door. Some historical material relative to the history of the Andover Theological Seminary is included in the collection.
