Why Chinese?
- Chinese
is the largest language, spoken by more people than any other
language in the world.
- Chinese
is a powerful tool to understand Chinese culture and civilizations;
- Chinese
provides big career opportunities in the 21st century since
China has become one of the largest markets in the world;
- Chinese
now has an SAT II for college applications. High school students
taking Chinese stand out in the college applicant pool;
- Chinese
is easy to learn. There is no subject-verb agreement or verb
conjugation to worry about;
- Chinese
is fun to learn because writing Chinese characters is like drawing
pictures.
