Welcome
to College Counseling at Andover!
The college counseling program at Phillips Academy is firmly grounded
in the belief that discovering good matches between students and post-secondary
institutions is what the college admissions process is all about.
This process is an exciting one, filled with opportunities for self-discovery,
but it can also be a time of some anxiety for students and parents.
In the winter of their 11th-grade year, students are linked with our
team of college counselors, who assist them
with every facet of the 18-month adventure ahead.
Our
portion of the Phillips Academy Web site is designed to complement
this personal relationship and provide resources for students
and parents who want to learn more about our office and the events
we sponsor. Our Web site also offers access to a wealth of information
on the World Wide Web concerning financial aid, testing, areas
of academic interest and the Web sites of colleges and universities
via our links.
