The Phillips Academy Department of Theatre and Dance is pleased to present The Heidi Chronicles. Wendy Wasserstein’s Pulitzer Prize and Tony Award winning play will be performed in Phillip Academy’s newly renovated Theatre Classroom thanks to the generosity of the Abbot Academy Association and Trustees without which this performance would not be possible. Performances will be held on Friday, February 17th and Saturday, February 18th.
Directed by faculty member, Allen Grimm, The Heidi Chronicles follows the story of Heidi Holland, feminist art historian, from high school in the 1960’s to the 1980’s in her adult career. Over the course of those 20 years, she makes important discoveries about life and love and the changing role of women in different times.
The cast of The Heidi Chronicles includes Hannah Berkowitz ’17 as Heidi, Grace Anthony ’17, Hannah Beaudoin ’17, Emma Brown ’19, Jack Hjerpe ’17, Ian Hurley ’19, Thomas MacWilliams ’18, and Ella Ritchie ‘19. The Heidi Chronicles is stage managed by Sarah Langr ‘18, and features set design by staff member Timothy Duffy and lighting designs by Katharine Wang ‘19.
Performances of The Heidi Chronicles are Friday, February 17th at 7:30 p.m. and Saturday, February 18th at 2:30 p.m. and 7:30 p.m. in the Theatre Classroom. Admission is free, however, seating is limited and seats may be reserved through the Phillips Academy Box Office at 978-749-4433.

The Theatre and Dance Box Office is located across the hall from Tang Theatre in George Washington Hall. Tickets may be reserved over the phone by calling 978-749-4433 or purchased at the box office. Hours of operation are from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m., Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday and 8 a.m. to 12 p.m. on Thursdays. The Box Office also opens one hour prior to each show. Tickets must be purchased in person at that time. The Box Office phone is not answered one hour prior to shows.
