| A former swimmer in his native France and at PA (’79), Jacques Hugon has been the boys’ coach since 2001, consistently posting top-five finishes at New Englands as well as Top-25 national rankings. Coach Hugon teaches Mathematics and Computer Science at the school. He holds BA and MS degrees in Computer Science and an MBA from Harvard. |

Coaching the Girls Varsity Swim team since 1991, Paul Murphy '84 has helped Andover consistently place in the top 3 teams in New England (out of 25 teams). New England Champions in 1998 (in a tie with Exeter), 2002-2006, the team was also the Runner-up in 2001 and 2000. Coach Murphy has coached 20 All-American swimmers and has compiled a career record of 121-24-3 by the close of the 2007 season. Coach Murphy also teaches in the math department and is the Director of the Phillips Academy Summer Session. He lives on campus with his wife, Debby Burdett Murphy '86, Senior Associate Dean of Admission, and their three young children. |

| David Fox, formerly a nationally-ranked age-group swimmer and state record-holder, captained both the swimming and water-polo teams at Bates College. Since graduation in 1993, Coach Fox has coached numerous Junior National and All-East players first with the Tulsa Water-Polo team, then with Harvard College. Coach Fox teaches English, and holds a Master’s degree in Education from Harvard. |

Trish Russell is thrilled to return to coaching the JV Girls once again. She joins Palmer Seeley in coaching the team for the 2004 season. The JV team has expanded considerably in recent years and provides an excellent fitness and skill development program for young and/or novice competitive swimmers. A veteran swim instructor and coach, Trish is also an instructor in biology and physics and house counselor in a girls' ninth grade dorm. |

5-time All American herself, Belinda Wolf Canavan has been
coaching diving at Andover since 1991. She teaches aerobics
in the fall and coaches SLAM. |
