Competing in the National High School Tournament at Yale this past weekend, the Andover boys varsity squash team came in 7th out of 32 schools!
The boys varsity squash team defeated Westminster 6-1 but lost a close match to Choate 3-4 on Saturday at Choate. The coaches were pleased that a large improvement in everyone;s play could be easily seen in the day's matches.
St. Paul's defeated PA in boys varsity squash 4-3 today. Dan Wagman, Derek de Svastich, and Simon Keyes at #1, 2, and 3 all won for PA, and the other matches were close even though SPS prevailed.
The boys varsity squash team lost to Milton 6-1 on Saturday. Derek deSvastich got the only win for PA at #2, but everyone felt that they played well against a very tough team
The boys varsity squash team was unfortunately not at full strength, but everyone gave their all against a strong Groton team. In a 6-1 victory for Groton, PA's win at #7 was by Dan Silk who was celebrating his birthday!
PA won all 7 matches against a Deerfield team that returned their entire team return from last year.
