Directions to the Boathouse

Parking at the boathouse is very limited and you are asked not to park along the access road leading to the boathouse.

Arrangements have been made for those attending SPRING races to park in the parking lot of the Andover Companies and you are asked to do so. The Andover Companies is located 25 yards or so behind the boathouse and it is an easy walk through the woods to get to the race site.

Directions to the Andover Companies

From Rt. 93 north or south: Exit 45, RIVER RD.
Take River Road east to first traffic lightand turn left onto Old River Road. Look for signs to Andover Companies. Park in northeast corner of parking lot - Boathouse & river are 25 yards through the woods. (If you end up in the parking lot of the Wyndham Hotel - you have gone to far - re-trace your steps and look for entrance to Andover Companies.) Please remember that we are guests of the Andover Companies - and would like to continue to have use of their parking lot.

Please do not leave any trash in the parking lot.

From Rt. 93: Exit 45, RIVER RD.

Take River Road east past the entrance to the Marriot Hotel on left (Old River Rd.)

Continue 1/4 mile to the Greater Lawrence Area Vocational Technical School on left.

Turn into the school.

On the very west side of the parking area (left) will be a gravel road which leads to our boathouse, where there is plenty of parking.

You must drive all the way around the school (counter-clockwise) to get to the gravel road, since the traffic pattern there is one-way. Turn right as you enter the school from River Road, then just keep turning left around the back, past the football field. The entrance to the gravel road is marked by a “No Parking/Fire Lane” sign just before the last yellow gate that leads back out onto River Road.
