5/13/2006 Crew Defeats Exeter to Celebrate 50th Anniversary of Program
Despite the pouring rain, the PA Crews took to the Merrimack against Exeter and Tabor in celebration of the 50th anniversary of the program at Andover. While this year's rowers attended Saturday classes, many alumni crew members warmed up the river, and when afternoon came and the rain persisted, the Big Blue bested Exeter and Tabor in both the B1 and G1 races. PA also won the B3, B4, and G3 events. [RESULTS]

4/15/2006 Crew: Merrimack River, Andover, MA--1500 meters
Conditions:  strong tailwind, sunny and warm, floating start
It was a gorgeous day on the Merrimack, and the Andover crews were strong and able as they rowed to close finishes in every race with rival Kent. The Andover girls were able to cross the finish line ahead of Kent in all but the G2 race, while the PA boys finished second, each time by a narrow margin. The crews from Brookline and Lowell also rowed well and contributed to the festive day.

Notes:  In the G1-G2 and B1-B2, first Andover raced Kent and Lowell raced Brookline.  Then the first place finishers of the first round of racing raced each other and the second place finishers of the first round of racing raced each other.  In the G3-G4 and B3-B4 categories, there was a single multi-boat race. [RESULTS]
