Abbot Athletic Award Given annually to a girl who has excelled in varsity sports and whose loyalty and good sportsmanship exemplify the highest ideals of Andover athletics. Aimionoizomo O. Akade
Abbot Academy Field Hockey Award Awarded to that member of the varsity field hockey team who has contributed most to the sport through endeavor, ability, and team spirit. Bernadette Doykos
Philip K. Allen Award This sports camp scholarship is awarded to the returning female athlete who best combines the vigor of a true competitor with a grace of character, thereby demonstrating her personal understanding that the aggressiveness required to excel need not overpower propriety, personal dignity, and kindness. Banta Tennis Trophy Awarded to that boy and girl member of the varsity tennis team who shows sportsmanship, leadership, and character throughout the season. Andrew J. Merle, Camilla Hrdy
William H. Brown Crew Trophy Awarded to that boy and girl student who have contributed most in the way of team spirit and sportsmanship to the crew. Boys Recipient: Not Awarded in 2000; Katharine Larson
Drake Soccer Award Awarded annually to a member of the girls' varsity soccer team who, through ability, dedication, and love of the game, has inspired in her teammates the will to win. Hillary J. Fitzpatrick
Fagan Squash Trophy Awarded to the winner of the "Fagan Trophy Tournament," open to those students at Phillips Academy who are participating in the game of squash. Not Awarded in 2000
Parker-Sprague Goss Trophy To that cluster whose "A" teams have finished highest in the standings for the entire year. Abbot Cluster
Hallowell Cross Country Cup Awarded annually to a member of the boys' and girls' cross-country team who during the season has displayed outstanding sportsmanship, performance, and team spirit. Anne S. Abbott, Hunter D. Washburn
Harrison Baseball Award Given in honor of Ted Harrison by the Class of 1938 to the outstanding all-around performer on the Phillips Academy varsity baseball team who best represents the qualities of sportsmanship, dedication, and the will to win. Jeffrey Heighington
Hoitsma Squash Award Awarded to that boy or girl squash player who best exemplifies the dedicated commitment to squash which Lou Hoitsma has shown in his years of coaching Phillips Academy teams. Ashley A. Harmeling
Hulburd Lacrosse Trophy Awarded to that senior player who typifies enthusiasm, character, and the winning spirit--qualities instilled in Andover players from 1956-1971 by Robert P. Hulburd. Takashi Ikeda

Sumner Smith Hockey Award Awarded to a boy and girl senior who are in good scholastic standing and during their association with hockey at Phillips Academy have contributed most to the sport and to the school by representing its ideals through sportsmanship, endeavor, and ability. Press Club Award To the student who has proved through his/her performance on the athletic fields to be the most capable athlete of the whole year. Schubert Key To a member of the senior class who has excelled in varsity athletics and who has best exemplified the qualities of sound character, cheerfulness and good sportsmanship on the athletic field. Funded in 1951 by the Eta Delta Phi Society, in memory of Edmund John Schubert of the Physical Education Department. First awarded in 1944. Katherine E. Otway
Harold J. Sheridan Award To the student who has contributed most to the intramural athletic program. Funded in 1956 by bequest of Fannie J. Sheridan, in memory of her grandson, Harold Joseph Sheridan, Jr., class of 1943, who gave his life for his country as a member of the United States Marine Corps in September 1944. Raymond T. Tippett Memorial Award Awarded annually to a senior member of the varsity football or baseball team whose loyalty, courage, and modesty exemplify the character of Ray Tippett and the best traditions of Andover athletics.
