9. Cochran Chapel

Cochran Chapel is a neo-Georgian chapel with massive interior columns decorated with carved cherubs who smile benevolently at everyone gathered inside, even students dozing off at all-school meeting. The Chapel is the center of religious life on campus for students and faculty of all faiths. It is also home to the Department of Religion and Philosophy, and to the Community Service Program. The school's 100 to 120-piece symphony orchestra performs here. The Chapel hosts many concerts, lectures and gatherings throughout the year.
