The exhibition Views and Viewpoints is an opportunity to present
works that illustrate the depth and breadth of the Addison’s
collection. Chosen to share well-loved, lesser-known, as well as
recently acquired treasures, the exhibition is organized in four
subject areas, Figuration, Landscape, Urbanism, and Abstraction.
Among the artists represented are John Singleton Copley, Eastman
Johnson, Childe Hassam, George Bellows, Isabel Bishop, Theodore
Roszak, Man Ray, and Barnett Newman.
This exhibition has been generously supported by the Bernard and Louise Palitz
Exhibitions Fund.
