Artist Submissions


Opportunities for acquisition and/or exhibition at the Addison are limited. However, the museum welcomes introductions and updates of artists’ work. Those who would like the museum’s curatorial committee to review their work should please send the following:

1. 10-20 images of work in the form of slides, printed copies, or scanned files.

2. a résumé and description of the works presented

3. any necessary background materials (i.e. artist statement, proposal, press files, etc.)

4. a self-addressed stamped envelope (SASE)

Please do not send original artwork, or the only copies of slides or photography, as the Addison cannot claim responsibility for submitted materials. Please send only replaceable documentation.

Submissions will be acknowledged with a letter upon receipt. Reviews by the full committee take place three times a year; therefore, it may be several months before you hear from the committee and/or your materials are returned. (Do not send materials that you will need back immediately.)
