The dean of studies
oversees and helps coordinate the academic program of the school.
This includes the activities of various academic departments, the
Course
of Study, system of advising,
scheduling of courses, assignment of students to classes, daily
schedule and academic calendar,
and academic support
services. The dean also receives and acts on requests for special
permission, exceptions or leaves of absence. Questions can be sent

Ordering Transcripts
To order transcripts, a request
must be made in writing (please print or type) to: Recorder's
Office, Phillips Academy, 180 Main St., Andover, MA 01810. Please
include: name, class, addresses where transcripts should be
sent, and a current address and phone number for yourself. Your
signature must be on the request. On-campus students must come
to the Recorder's Office in person to request transcripts. Official
transcripts may be sent only to educational institutions or
employers. Unofficial transcripts may be sent to students or
former students. Standardized test scores do not appear on the
transcripts, but are available upon requst. The
Recorder's Office does not charge a fee for processing transcripts,
but appreciates addressed stamped envelopes with each request.
Replacement diplomas are available
upon written request. Please call the Recorder's Office at 978-749-4031
for the current cost.
