SATs on Saturday December 1, 2007

Directions to Tests
Students taking Standard SATs:

All SAT exams will be held in Morse Hall

Students Approved for Special Accommodations (with SSD codes) will be held in Morse Hall – Room 203.

Standbys:    Our rooms are all full.  We will only accept standbys where we have no-shows for the tests.   If you are coming as a standby, you must have your registration packet completed when you arrive.


SAT Test Day Instructions:

Students should arrive by 7:45 am and be seated and ready to test by 8:15.  Students will find seating charts posted in the lobby of the test building.   They should find their name on the roster and determine the room, row, and seat they will be in.   

Students will be admitted to testing rooms at approximately 8:00.   Parents are not allowed in the testing room or to remain in the test building during the test.

Students must bring the following:

  • A picture ID (students without an ID will not be admitted).
  • Acceptable IDs are School IDs, Driver’s License or Passports.  
  • Test Admission ticket
  • your social security number (optional),
  • a supply of # 2 pencils
  • an approved calculator, with extra batteries

Students should not bring the following:

  • Pens
  • Cell phones
  • Notes, books, dictionaries, or scratch paper
  • Rulers, protractors or compass
  • Food or drinks, except for closed water bottles or snacks which can be consumed at the break
  • PDAs, computers or portable listening devices.

Students can only be dismissed when the test finishes.  SAT I’s end at approximately 1:15pm. Students may not be dismissed early.  

SAT II students may leave at the end of any of the three tests.   Each test last approximately one hour.

Directions to the Borden Gym:

From Rt. 93N take Exit 41 (Rt.125), bear right off exit for 2 mi. to jct. of Rt. 28. Go north on Rt. 28 for approx. 4 mi. to campus. Just before Bell Tower, turn right into parking area at the rear of the gym.

From 495 take Exit 41, Rt. 28. Go south through town. Go through the light at the Bell Tower and take next left into parking area. Go into the back door and follow the ramp up to the main floor, then follow the SAT signs to the lobby of the building.

Signs will be posted on the street pointing toward the the testing building.

Directions to Bullfinch Hall:

Bullfinch Hall is located on the south or right side of Salem Street.  Student should park or be dropped on Salem Street.  Walk past the Sherman Admissions building and Bullfinch Hall is the brick building on your left, just before the Borden Gym.  Signs will be out identifying the building

Directions to Morse Hall:

Morse hall is located on the left or north side of Salem Street.   Follow the path into the campus.  Morse Hall is across from  the Commons, the second building to the right.  Signs will be posted identifying the  building.
