Pomp, pride and "Blue Skies" launch Palfrey tenure

September 26, 2012 --The student/faculty jazz ensemble’s rendition of “Blue Skies” preceded the investiture speech of John G. Palfrey Jr., last weekend. An expression of hope and new beginnings, the Irving Berlin song also described the weather on that perfect fall day. Representatives from nearly 100 colleges, universities and schools joined the Andover community to formally welcome Phillips Academy’s 15th Head of School. Watch the ceremony and view photos below.
