Orientation is held on the  weekend before the opening of school. As part of orientation, each new student is assigned a Blue Key Leader who meets with them upon their arrival on campus. Their Blue Key Leader helps them become acquainted with their new surroundings and maintains contact with them throughout their first year.

Orientation Weekend itself is a an intense, exciting experience that students never forget. It begins with an enthusiastic welcome as throngs of screaming,  sign-wielding Blue Keys line the sides of the road welcoming new students to campus. Upon arrival, new students go directly to registration, located in Morse Hall, and then to their assigned dorms where they unpack their suitcases and fix their room to your liking. New students also have the opportunity to open a bank account and visit CVS or Walmart for those extra items they might have forgotten. Day students will meet their Blue Keys during afternoon meetings.
