Club Description

Modern Music Production Club has three main focuses: Music, Charity, and Business. The goal of the club is for students to collaborate with one another and create completely original songs that are then recorded and compiled on the MMPC CD. The CDs are then sold back to the student body to make money for a charity chosen by the club members. We accept all genres of music (Hip Hop, Rock, Pop, Jazz, etc.) and often experiment by mixing genres as well. No experience is required (in instruments, composition, or lyrics) for the club also helps members expand their knowledge and understanding of music as well as express creativity. We also hope that our project will bridge gaps between musicians of different classes and interests, and also that the club will offer all students the chance to be heard and express themselves. In addition to the CD, MMPC also holds its own weekend events and collaborates with other clubs and organizations.
