Jewish Student Union
Club Description
Jewish Student Union provides religious, cultural and social programming for Andover’s Jewish community. Programs include student-led Shabbat services each Friday, weekly dinner discussions, holiday celebrations, social outreach events and an annual Jewish Cultural Weekend. Past Jewish Cultural Weekends have included Jewish a capella groups, a Seinfeld Fest, bagel brunches, professional comedians, speakers and more. Other events throughout the year include: baking apple pies during Rosh Hashanah for local food pantries, building a Sukkah during Sukkot with candy and pizza, a delicious BBQ celebration of Log B’Omer, visiting speakers, a catered Passover Seder with students from nearby prep schools, a trip to the Tufts University Hillel, co-sponsored events with the anti-genocide club and much more.
