Andover Korean Society
Club Description
Andover Korean Society (AKS) meetings and events are times to relax, learn about Korean culture and current events, and participate and organize cultural awareness events open to the school community. They are open to all, whether Korean, Asian or simply interested in learning about a new culture. There is always a friendly, welcoming, and relaxed atmosphere, ideal for talking about any issues or problems or just meeting new people from all over campus. AKS members have produced short parodies of Korean dramas for International Festival and Asian Arts festival, grilled Korean Barbecue for the Food Bazaar at those events, dressed up in traditional clothing for the Fashion shows, and performed a variety of talents, from martial arts to dance and skits. Periodic trips to BK Grill, the nearby Korean restaurant, and Shin-shin, the Asian grocery mart, offer not only a chance to get some good food but also to socialize with friends. Again, anyone is welcome at meetings and any of these events. We hope to see you during the year!
