Senior Tea
Every Monday, Tuesday and Thursday during conference period, senior students flock to Senior Tea. For many, it is a long awaited privilege, for others a pleasant surprise. This is their time to chat, relax, and indulge in a snack and perhaps some tea, coffee or hot chocolate, complete with honey and the occasional whipped cream.
Senior Tea welcomes visits from teachers and deans, but by and large, it is a time for weary, hungry students to unwind and recharge between classes.
Currently held in Steinbach Lobby, Senior Tea officially began in 1974 in memory of Ruth B Stott and Frederic WH Stott, and was established to make school a “better and more friendly place to live.”
Seniors would agree that it does.
