Richard Keller

Richard Keller, M.D.

Medical Director
Board Certified in Pediatrics and Pediatric Endocrinology

Richard Keller has been medical director of Isham Health Center since 1992. Board certified in pediatrics and pediatric endocrinology, he is also an instructor in pediatrics at Harvard Medical School, an assistant in medicine at Children’s Hospital in Boston and co-medical director of the Joslin Diabetes Camp of Joslin Diabetes Center in Boston. Keller received a B.S. degree summa cum laude in biology from Yale University, where he was elected to Phi Beta Kappa, and an M.D. degree from New York University School of Medicine, where he received a commendation in hematology and was elected to Alpha Omega Alpha honor society. He completed an internship and residency in pediatrics at Yale-New Haven Hospital; a clinical fellowship in pediatric endocrinology at Children’s Hospital in Boston; and a research fellowship in pediatric endocrinology at Children’s Hospital and Joslin Diabetes Center.

Keller has presented original papers at numerous meetings of the American Diabetes Association and has been invited to lecture at medical schools and hospitals throughout the nation. In 1996, he received a Physician Recognition Award from the American Medical Association. He has co-authored original reports appearing in leading medical journals, including the New England Journal of Medicine, The Journal of Pediatrics and Diabetes Care. In 2003, a review article he co-authored, titled “Children and Adolescents with Eating Disorders: The State of the Art,” was published in the journal Pediatrics.

Cathy Golas

Catherine J. Golas, CHFP

Administrator

Cathy Golas joined the Isham Health Center as its administrator in September 2006. Recently certified with the Healthcare Financial Management Association, Golas has more than 15 years of experience in the health care industry in the areas of finance, strategic planning, and research. She has worked with clinical directors to offer tertiary services, such as angioplasty and bariatric surgery, to the community hospital setting at Lowell General Hospital and served as chief financial officer for an acute care rehabilitation hospital, past board member of the New Hampshire Chapter of the American Diabetes Association, and adjunct faculty at Franklin Pierce College.

Golas graduated with distinction from UMass–Dartmouth with a BS degree. Her graduate studies led to an MBA from Plymouth State College, where she received a Small Business Administration award for the development of a strategic business plan for a southern New Hampshire women’s health center.

An outdoor sports enthusiast, she enjoys running, biking, skiing, and windsurfing in the New Hampshire seacoast area, where she lives with her husband and two sons.

Katherine Vozeolas

Katherine Vozeolas, RN, BSN, NCSN

Director of Nursing

Katie Vozeolas joined the Isham Health Center as the director of nursing in March 2007. The nurse leader for North Andover Public Schools for five years and a school nurse there as well, Vozeolas has also worked in corporate health as a clinical quality manager for Fresenius Medical Care (previously National Medical Care), as a manager for a supplemental staffing agency in Philadelphia, and as a critical care nurse at Lehigh Valley Hospital Center in Allentown, Pa.

Vozeolas has worked closely with the Massachusetts Department of Public Health’s School Health Unit, functioning as a member of DPH’s Essential School Health Grant Evaluation committee for two years. She has been the lead trainer of school nurses in the revised vision screening and referral guidelines published by DPH in September 2005 and a lecturer for Northeastern University’s School Health Institute, which provides professional development opportunities to school nurses.

A graduate of the University of Vermont with a bachelor’s degree in nursing, Vozeolas is certified as a Basic Life Support Trainer for the American Heart Association. She lives in North Andover with her husband and two daughters, and enjoys biking, horseback riding, and knitting/felting.
