Welcome to Parents’ Weekend at Andover! We hope you enjoy a wonderful weekend with your children and find time for some of the many activities offered. If your schedule permits, please visit the Oliver Wendell Holmes Library, the Elson Art Center, the Peabody Museum of Archeology, and our new Gelb Science Center.

H1N1 HEALTH NOTICE

While we have had some probable cases of the H1N1 flu on campus this year, they have not interrupted normal campus operations and are not impacting our plans to proceed with Parents Weekend. However, we do ask visitors to campus to observe a few simple health guidelines. To read more, click here.

PARK, WALK AND ENJOY OUR BEAUTIFUL CAMPUS!
           
Since Phillips Academy is a very walkable campus, we strongly recommend that you park your car in one of the areas described below, and walk to all events and classes.  In case of any emergencies, contact the Public Safety Office at (978) 749-4444.

PARKING INFORMATION
Park with care so as not to block roads, driveways, and marked or unmarked fire lanes. Parking is available at the following locations:

  • Central parking adjacent to the Office of Physical Plant on the Abbot campus off School Street
  • Between the Chapel and the Andover Inn
  • Graves Hall lot: expanded parking
  • Chapel side only of Chapel Avenue between Main Street and the Andover Inn. If you park near Stearns, Stevens, or Stimson, please park so as to allow easy passage of fire/emergency apparatus.
  • Rabbit Pond Circle: designated areas
  •  Phillips Street: Peabody Museum side only, between Main Street and Old Campus Road
  •  Salem Street: limited parking, observe “no parking” signs carefully

    If you wish to make special parking arrangements for a handicapped or disabled visitor, contact Tom Conlon, manager of Public Safety at (978)749-4447 prior to arrival.
