Student Leadership
The club’s goals are to keep knowledge of and pursuit of environmental conservation alive in the PA and Andover community. Club members support the growth of campus sustainability initiatives by providing venues for student voices and strategizing long term planning. The club holds awareness and activism events to support environmental conservation efforts.
This club seeks to raise awareness on campus about the political, social, environmental and economic importance of energy and resource depletion. Through discussion, education, speakers and events we hope to bring attention to the challenges our generation will face in the 21st century as we run out of cheap petroleum and come to depend on alternative sources of energy.
Environmental Stewardship Program
The Environmental Stewardship Program gives students the opportunity to gain leadership experience while supporting efforts that reduce Andover’s impact on the environment and promoting sustainable behavior by students, faculty and staff that allows members of the community to take responsibility for the institution’s environmental impact. Student leaders, E-Stewards, dedicate significant time to this program by participating in leadership training and coordinating educational outreach initiatives for the community.
