“The people who inspire me the most are the teachers…”
Cassius - Class of 2009
Peterborough, NH
Anyone planning to have a discourse on politics with Cassius would be well advised to have their facts straight.
As the Vice President of Andover’s debate team, an award-winning delegate of PA’s Model United Nations, and Executive Editor of Frontline, Andover’s bipartisan political magazine, Cassius has found his passion and possible future career—to be involved with diplomacy or international relations.
Cassius came to Andover because he “felt energized and inspired by the diverse community and sense of cultivated learning,” and has since been on the honor roll for all eight of his terms at Andover, excelling in several AP courses ranging from history to calculus. It is through critical thinking and engaging peer discussions that he has learned to excel both in and out of the classroom.
While he manages to balance academics and extracurricular activities, he does not have to look far for motivation on campus. “The people who inspire me the most are the teachers,” says Cassius. “I’ve always admired those who are able to engage their students’ intellectual curiosity and impart fascinating information.”
