Interests
Prior to coming to Phillips Academy, I served as assistant dean of students and then as associate dean of admissions at Earlham College, and dean of admission and financial aid at Kenyon College. Active in professional organizations, I have served on the Midwestern Regional Council of the College Board, the Common Application Steering Committee, the National Merit Scholarship Selction Commitee, the National Committee on Membership of the College Board, and as director of the Test of English as a Foreign Language. In 2005, I received the Margaret Addis Award for outstanding contributions to the National Association for College Admission Counseling. Publications include a chapter in the graduate school textbook published by NACAC on writing school counselor recommendations.
