The Andover varsity crew team is in England this week to participate in the prestigious Henley Royal Regatta on the River Thames, which gets underway on June 28. In preparation for that event, they spent the past weekend racing in the Reading Town Regatta, winning in the finals over Tabor on Saturday, June 24. Above, they celebrate the win by hoisting their victory tankards. The Reading races were run on an 800m course. The Henley course will be more than 2000m long.
