Captured: the thrill of an elusive math solution, the goosebumps of discovery when the ground gives up a long-buried treasure, the rich tones of a Beethoven serenade under the trees, the budding of new-found self-confidence, the excitement of a new friendship… With the closing of Phillips Academy’s Summer Session, memories linger while lessons learned ready us for the return of fall. Andover students also worked in India, placed at Henley, attended classes in (MS)2 and the Institute for the Recruitment of Teachers (IRT) classes, queried visiting college admissions officers, tested their strength and courage in a number of new ventures, and had some good old-fashioned fun.
