Prep School/SSAT Prep Camp

This program encompasses Gunga Hockey's overall vision and is intended for student athletes entering the 7th and 8th grade who have aspirations of attending prep school.  The camp will provide a vehicle for players to assess themselves on ice, to learn how to prepare for the SSAT exam and about the overall prep school application process.  Campers will receive  10 hours of on-ice training by prep school coaches, 10 hours of off-ice training by Gunga staff, and 10 hours of SSAT prep classroom time by the Princeton Review.  Each camper will be evaluated as to their strengths and weaknesses as they pertain to both hockey skills as well as potential SSAT performance in both Math and English.

Our staff is comprised of both male and female coaches who are affiliated with Phillips Academy as an employee, student or former student - all with extensive ice hockey backgrounds. Other Prep School coaches from the New England area as well as our Phillips Academy boys and girls varsity ice hockey coaches will be on the ice and will speak with campers during the week.
