Service of Lessons and Carols

On Sunday, December 6, at 4:30 p.m., the PA Chaplaincy and the Department of Music will host its annual Service of Lessons & Carols in Cochran Chapel. This liturgy, derived from ancient sources and modeled on the King’s College format, is a holiday favorite.

Come bask in the candlelight. Revel in the traditional music of the Christmas season. And listen to the centuries-old story of the birth of Jesus. Music performances will be offered by the Academy Chorus, the Handbell Choir, Fidelio, and the Harp and Brass Ensembles. Retiring faculty member Vincent Avery will join lectors Rebecca Sykes and Barbara Chase and selected student readers.
