Campus Preservation
Goal: $87.5 million
Priority
Preserve Andover’s historic campus and create a sustainable living and learning environment.
Today, our campus consists of 154 buildings on approximately 550 acres of land. Included in that figure are many special resources, including two museums (the Addison Gallery of American Art and the Robert S. Peabody Museum of Archaeology), a language lab, an 85-acre bird sanctuary, a science center with 24 laboratories and classrooms, and two theatres. Our 109 classrooms are used intensively, many on a year-round basis.
We are committed to renewing and improving our historic campus while continually focusing on energy efficiency and sustainability. The Campaign for Andover focuses on the following renewal and preservation projects:
- Addison Gallery
- Andover Inn
- Athletic Fields
- Boathouse
- Bulfinch Hall
- New Dorms
- Paresky Commons
- Peabody Museum
