At home on November 4, 2015 at 3:00 PM

A volleyball match played in molasses. There were some inspiring plays, but nowhere near the level that both these teams can play. Andover prepares to host Governor's Friday and travel to Milton on Saturday.

In the first set Andover came out in fire, going up 5-0 in Fran Trautman's serves, but a lack if focus allowed SPS back in in to tie it at 15-15. SPS went ahead 18-20 but Andover sided out and went up 21-21. The teams traded two side-outs when Tiffany Baumann served out the set 25-22. In the second set Claudia Leopold connected on some middle hits to tie SPS early surge back to 4-4. SPS went ahead 9-4; PA tied it 9-9. SPS 12-10; PA 12-14. SPS ties it at 14. Andover gies ahead 18-14 on Fran Trautman's serve, which was enough of a lead to secure a 2-0 set lead. Lacking drive in the third set Andover went down 2-5, tied it at 11-11. SPS went ahead 13-15, Andover tied it at 16-16. Andover went ahead 18-17, but SPS wrestled that lead away and forced a fourth set at 21-25. Andover took early leads at 6-1, 10-4, 15-8, 18-12, 22-17, and secured a win at 25-21.
