Saving the best for last, Andover came from being down 2-0 in the second half to winning 3-2
After a dominant first half but few big chances, Andover came out strong in the second half and pushed forward but Exeter stepped up their game and soon earned a penalty. After converting their penalty, Exeter's confidence grew and a few minutes later they added a second. The Big Blue responded immediately through a clever cross from Roberto Rabines that Brandon Girard found a way to tap into the Exeter goal. Down 2-1, Andover pressed and eventually Girard struck again by converting a header off the bar into a goal to tie it up. Then in the final ten minutes, some efficient passing and a cross from Alex Dziadosz brought the Exeter goal under attack and Girard struck again to bring home the win. It was a great effort from both teams and a memorable comeback by Andover.
