Will Orben joined the Phillips Academy faculty and soccer program in the fall of 2013. Following a professional playing career with FC Copenhagen in Denmark, Will was the head coach at The Taft School in Watertown, CT for nine seasons. He competed in college soccer at Lehigh University, holds a USSF A License and NSCAA Advanced National Diploma, coaches regularly at the Indiana University summer soccer camps, and was a visiting coach at FC Nordsjaelland of the Danish Superliga. Will maintains relationships with college coaches around the country and aims to offer all of his players the opportunity to maximize their abilities as both students and soccer players. Will earned his degree in civil engineering from Lehigh, and at Andover, he teaches mathematics and lives on campus with his family.
Edwin Escobar joined the Phillips Academy faculty and soccer program in the fall of 2015. Before coming to PA, Coach Escobar taught and coached the JV and Varsity boys and girls teams at Tabor Academy for eight years. A high school tri-varsity athlete, Coach Escobar competed in college soccer at MCLA where he was co-captain his senior year. While on the field, Coach Escobar emphasizes to his players the importance of collective achievement and teaches them that a group effort is far greater than that of a single individual. Coach Escobar has a Master's Degree in Spanish Language Teaching Methodology from Middlebury College and holds a USSF E License and NSCAA National Diploma. At Andover, he teaches Spanish and lives in a boys dorm with his family. He follows AC Milan, Boca Juniors, and Santa Fe de Bogotá closely.
