PAPuck pulled off a huge upset today, defeating Nobles in their home rink 3-2. While the Andover girls have come up on the short end of a lot of close games this year, today was their day. Cara Daly '13 had the game of her young career, figuring in on all 3 tallies with 2 goals and an assist. Andover went up 1-0 in the first off of Daly's first goal (assists to Mariana Walsh '11 and Kitten Sherrill '10) and then opened up the lead to 2-0 when Daly connected again from Walsh and Ann Doherty '11.) Nobles climbed right back into the game with two goals less than two minutes apart in the second period, but the Andover girls kept their heads up and went right back to work. Kitten Sherrill '10 got the game winner with 51 seconds remaining in the second period off a beautiful wrap by Daly and the Big Blue held on in the third period behind another stellar performance by Sarah Schuchardt '11 (34 saves.) A great team effort all around against a very strong Nobles team.
