Reunions at Andover are a festive occasion – a chance to connect again with classmates, meet their families, and make new friends. It’s also an opportunity for learning and for reflecting upon our varied journeys.

Over the past few years, there have been changes to improve the program and help control costs. From special guest speakers to classes and panels, reunions at Andover now reflect what Phillips Academy is all about—excellence in education.

Of course, it would not be Reunion Weekend without fun, relaxing times, and places to reconnect. While keeping costs reasonable, we have upgraded the meals, adding wine and sparkling water for Friday night’s dinner and a New England cookout for Saturday lunch. Please note that all receptions and meals are now ticketed via a special bracelet, which is required for admission.

While the 50th reunion will begin on Thursday, most other classes begin to gather on Friday evening. The following morning, many alumni overcome their dread of Saturday classes to reconnect with faculty members for an hour’s lesson in history, music, science, or philosophy. The colorful Alumni Parade steps off at 10:30 a.m., followed by the Annual Meeting in the Chapel, a wonderful celebration with brief updates from key school officials, special recognitions, historic photos, and student musical performances.

Saturday afternoon includes a potpourri of panels, presentations, and sports, including the induction of alumni into the new Athletic Hall of Honor. Class photos, special dinners, and late-night reminiscing wraps up the day.
