How did you hear about Andover?

I looked into a lot of different boarding schools online and Andover seemed like the perfect fit so I requested an information packet.

Why did you choose Andover?

Andover fit all the qualities I desired in a school and when I came to visit I could easily see myself fitting into the campus life. Everyone was so warm and inviting and I truly felt as if it were a place I could call home.

Favorite faculty member:

Ms. Maquebela. She was my track and field coach in the spring and she has the best sense of humor!

Favorite class:

I took photo last winter with Ms. Bauer and I absolutely loved it! It was so much more comprehensive than other photo classes I have taken. Even months later I still use the techniques I learned in class to analyze photographs and movies without even realizing it.

Why do you enjoy giving tours?

I love meeting people from all around the world who come and look at Andover! I love talking about everything the school offers because it is a constant reminder of how glad I am to attend Andover.

Sweet potato fries! I could live off them.

M&M cookies

What do you do during your down time?

Jog around campus with friends or go downtown.

Favorite Andover tradition:

Head of School day.

Best thing about being a boarding/day student:

Having such a huge support system in the dorms.

One thing you would change about Andover:

I would add another parent's weekend during spring term.
