Interests
I was born and raised in France but loved the U.S. from an early age. I moved from Paris to Los Angeles for my PhD in 2000. My field of research involves contemporary poetry, translation, and literary theory. I have taught English and American literature, ESL, comparative literature, English composition, and French - from middle school to college and adult professional training. I enjoy nature, photography, singing, and organizing events. My husband, Peter, works at MIT in the chemistry department. Our daughter Ellen was born on Valentine's Day 2008!
