Helping adolescents better understand human behavior, both their own and others', in both formal and informal ways, through psychology, biology, neuroscience, evolution, and lots of conversation; doing all sorts of community service, from composting in organic gardens in Roxbury to teaching in orphanages in Kenya; hiking, camping, and adventure around the world, with a special fondness for family trips to the coast of Maine and the red rocks of Utah.
