Interests
Having spent some 20 years in the chemical industry, I get excited in bringing my real love of the subject to my classes. My goal is to encourage students to become more knowledgeable about the world we live in and to be aware of the effects on our society of pollution, global warming, and energy production (nuclear & fossil), just to name a few. PA students work hard in my chemistry sections, but the rapport in the classroom permits an amiable teaching environment. Aside from the lessons and having a blast coaching 9th boys’ soccer and upper level tennis, I love to spend time in Italy, experiencing the art, the people, the culture, and of course, never a bad meal. Recently, I have taken time in the summers to learn the fundamentals of Italian with intensive language courses in Calabria. Now, I am the student.
